Happy Birthday, Internet

Well, apparently the Internet as being a network of distributed military devices connected via packet-based communication is a bit older, but the Internet as we know it (thus being text and pictures and the lot in a browser-window) was born 20 years ago, when no lesser than Tim Berners-Lee himself wrote the first placeholder page and therefore beginning to build the foundation stone for HTML, HTTP, and the World Wide Web as we know it.

So here’s to you, Sir, thank you for stealing our time with lots and lots of very cool stuff invented on the basis of your idea.
